In 1987, Master Chef Motoaki Aoki opened Oakville’s first Japanese restaurant after having received an invitation from then-mayor Harry Barrett. Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Aoki brought with him his passion for both sophisticated and homegrown flavours. Today, Mye is renowned for serving among the freshest and most appetizing sushis to be found across Canada.
